Safety and quality checks at domestic and international public institutions and research institutes
Our bird's nest is sold after undergoing basic testing at food analysis centers and other testing for cesium content, etc., to ensure safety. A government agency has also issued a "no bleaching certificate" to indicate that the nest has not been washed, which can produce carcinogenic substances. In terms of quality, bird's nest is sold after testing for sialic acid content, which is said to be particularly abundant in bird's nest. Even when sold online, management is carried out by a food hygiene manager. As we also provide bird's nest to Japanese food manufacturers as a raw material, other certifications are obtained from public and private institutions in Japan, Hong Kong, and Indonesia.
This inspection is carried out by a private institution that specializes in quality control, from the safety of the raw materials at the production site to inspection before delivery.
Production site inspection by Japanese staff
Our staff investigates the production areas of our bird's nests every year. We also manage and operate nest houses* through affiliated companies in the production areas, which is one of the reasons we are able to continue supplying high-quality bird's nests.
*Nest house: A tall building made to resemble a cave in a cliff. This allows for cleaner nests to be built and protects the swallow chicks as they are taken away after they have left the nest.
These efforts over the years have earned us the trust and support of Japanese manufacturers, and we continue to provide our products as raw materials for numerous Japanese products to this day.
We have been interviewed by many major broadcasting stations, including Fuji Television, TV Asahi, TV Tokyo, and NHK, to introduce and explain our production areas.
