Golden Swallow's Nest

The Story of Swallow's Nest Extract

JOY OF LIFE's first job was at Swallow's Nest.

It was 20 years ago that I first learned that among the nobles of China and Hong Kong, there was something called swallow's nest, which was said to be extremely good for health and beauty.

I actually tried it myself and was amazed at the results.

We wanted to somehow introduce this to ourselves and to people who have never experienced Swallow's Nest.

One option would have been to import and sell the swallow's nests themselves, but swallow's nests are similar to agar, and they must be soaked in water, heated, and then seasoned before they can be eaten.

After much thought, we wondered if there was an easier way to ingest swallow's nests, and came up with the idea of breaking down swallow's nests with enzymes and turning them into a drink.

Bird's nests don't have a particularly tasty taste, so even if you go to the trouble of making bird's nest soup, if you steam the nests as a whole and eat it, you will only absorb 10% of the nutrients.

However, it has been found that when the food is broken down using special enzymes, almost 100% of the nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Swallow's nest is eaten daily by the wealthy in Hong Kong and other places.

If we were to put the same amount of sugar as they eat in a day into one drink, it would amount to 40% extract.

By using this enzyme decomposition, we have developed a method (patent pending) to extract swallow's nests, which are tasteless and have a slightly distinctive smell, and make them delicious at a high concentration of 40%.
